Linear Ratings Results of Interest:
Nielsen was running very late in updating the Sunday ratings numbers, thus the reason this post was delayed one day.
On Friday, Legacies improved to a 0.08 rating based on same-day viewing for the 18-49 demographic with 376K total viewers. That show is currently awaiting word on its fate and in past seasons it would be a sure thing for renewal because one more year gets it to a syndication-friendly count of episodes. But with The CW currently going through a potential sale, its fate is uncertain. Fans are pulling for it, though, as the show is currently leading in our season end poll.
On Sunday, Showtime’s The Man Who Fell to Earth remained low at a 0.02 rating in the demo with 145K total viewers. But Starz’s Shining Vale just got a second season renewal despite similarly low numbers in its first season, so it is possible to survive on the premium cable channels if the delayed and digital viewing is good.
On Tuesday, Naomi improved to a 0.08 rating with 465K total viewers. That show has not been renewed yet, but there are indications that it will continue to a second season.

Nielsen Streaming Top 10
Disney+’s Moon Knight improved to Number 3 in the Nielsen Streaming Top 10 for originals for the week of April 4th to 10th. That was the show’s second week of release and it had an estimated 608 million minutes of viewing across two episodes. Supernatural slipped to Number 10 in the Top 10 for acquired shows, pulling in 305 million minutes of viewing. Netflix Top 10
For the week of April 25th to May 1st, there were once again no genre entries in the Netflix Top 10 for English-Language shows. There were no premieres for sci fi or fantasy shows that week, but Russian Doll and Pacific Rim: The Black were both in the second week of release of their second seasons (neither made it to the chart in their premiere week). In the Non-English-Language charts, the Turkish apocalyptic series Yakamoz S-245 made its second appearance, slipping to Number 5 with thirteen million hours viewed.
