If you enjoy the Axiom’s Edge Sci Fi sites (AxiomsEdgeSciFi.com, CancelledSciFi.com, and Cult-SciFi.com) and would like to have less in the way of intrusive ads, then there are ways you can help to support us and make this happen. Like you, we hate ads, especially the pop-ups and the ones that cause the pages to constantly shift around. But the fact is that it does cost money to keep these sites going, so we need to generate revenue of some sort. That does not have to come from the more obnoxious ad services like Google and Mediavine, though, and we would like to eliminate those altogether from the sites at some point. We are in the process of seeking sponsorships, particularly from the streaming services and independent studios, and while that does mean continued ads, those will be more relevant to the subject matter of these sites and less intrusive. In addition to that, here are some things you can do to help support the Axiom’s Edge sites and assure that they continue to keep you informed on news, developments, and updates on science fiction and fantasy television, movies, and more:
Sign Up for Our Newsletter:
We have set up a twice-weekly email newsletter that goes out on Mondays (Sci Fi TV Weekly Transmission) and Thursdays (Sci Fi Movie Weekly Transmission) that lets you know what TV shows and movies are premiering, along with quick hits on news and updates from the genre. As we continue to build up the following of this newsletter (currently 2,000 subscribers strong), that will help us to attract sponsorships. You can sign up by entering your email below, and there is a free book offer that goes along with that (you will get a notice in your email).
Let Other People Know About Our Sites:
CancelledSciFi.com has been going for fourteen years strong now, and yet many in the sci fi community do not know that this site, which keeps them updated on the status of current sci fi and fantasy television shows, even exists. Cult-SciFi.com has been around for three years, and yet genre fans are only just starting to discover all of the genre gems it covers. AxiomsEdgeSciFi.com just came back online in 2025, and its following is small but growing. So if you can pass the word along about our sites, it will help to build up our audience. Particularly, if you are on social media, then follow our sites while also forwarding the posts and communications we put up there. We are currently on Blue Sky (CancelledSciFi.com, AxiomsEdgeSciFi.com, Cult-SciFi.com), Mastodon (CancelledSciFi.com), Facebook (CancelledSciFi.com), and Twitter (CancelledSciFi.com, AxiomsEdgeSciFi.com).
Make a Small Donation:
How much is it worth to you to significantly reduce or maybe even eliminate the ads on these sites? Fifteen or Twenty bucks a year? If we got that much from each of our regular readers, we could definitely cut back on the ads if not do away with them altogether. We have avoided a paywall so far, and hope to keep it that way, but as mentioned above, there is a cost to keep these sites going. If you would like to volunteer a donation, that would be greatly appreciated, and you can do that with our Buy Me a Coffee account (plus, you will get a free book offer).
Contribute to Our Sites:
If you are an independent creator of books, movies, websites, comics, games, etc. related to the genre, we welcome you to promote your works on our sites. We offer a free promotional post on AxiomsEdgeSciFi.com, and we also offer opportunities to advertise your works on our sites at a very reasonable rate. You can find out more about that at this link. If you would like to write for us, we are welcoming contributors, and that also comes with an opportunity to promote your independent creations. You can find out more about that at this link.
Buy My Books:
Yes, this is a shameless plug for my books, but if revenue is coming in from those, it helps the Axiom’s Edge Sci Fi sites as well. I completed the second edition of Why Were They Cancelled? last year, and I have 25 of the Greatest Sci Fi and Fantasy Television Shows of All Time just about ready. I also have quite a number of other books on the sci fi genre as well as two fiction works, with more on the way. Here is the current list of what I have available, and it would also be great if you could put up some reviews for these if you enjoy them.
