Sci Fi TV Listings for the Week of October 7th: Premieres for The Flash, Primal, Supernatural, and More

Weekly roundup of science fiction and fantasy shows (as well as movies/specials of note) on the Prime Time TV schedule, also including programs that may be of interest to genre fans. Air dates and times subject to change without notice.

The Fall season ramps into high gear this week with eight premieres which includes most of The CW shows. On Monday, Black Lightning returns for its third season while later in the evening Genndy Tartakovsky’s animated Primal gets its series premiere at Midnight on Adult Swim (it will air new episodes each night this week). On Tuesday, The Flash is back for its sixth season as it sets things in motion for the upcoming Crisis on Infinite Earths cross-over event (see trailer below). On Wednesday, Riverdale returns for its fourth season followed by new entry Nancy Drew. On Thursday, Supernatural kicks off its fifteenth and final season with Legacies returning for its second year. And on Friday, Charmed has its second season premiere in its new timeslot. Arrow returns for its eighth and final season next week which will complete the premieres from The CW this Fall. Schedule Notes: If a show is listed as On Hiatus, that means that it is taking a break of more than two episodes in a row. If a streaming series is included in the listings after its premiere date, then it releases new episodes once per week on that day as opposed to releasing its entire season at one time.
