Digital Ratings: WandaVision Wraps Up at the Number 2 Slot

Disney+’s Wandavision had its finale the week of March 1st thru 7th and it held steady from the prior week at the Number 2 slot in the Nielsen Streaming Top 10 for original series. It pulled an estimated 924 million minutes of viewing for its last episode. That show has been in the Top 10 each week during its run and it will be interesting to see if it remains in the chart next week without releasing a new episode. Netflix’s Anime Pacific Rim: the Black had its debut that week but did not make it into the Top 10. Supernatural returned to the Top 10 for acquired shows, placing at the Number 9 slot with 400 million minutes for its encore run on Netflix. Outlander dropped out of that chart after placing there for several weeks when its fifth season became available on Netflix. You can see the full rankings at this link.

The Nielsen Streaming Ratings rank the shows/movies on Netflix, Amazon, Disney+, and Hulu based on the number of minutes watched during the week by U.S. viewers on television sets (mobile devices are not included at this point). The numbers are extrapolated based on the Nielsen sampling of families who have meters monitoring their viewing habits. Also note, shows with more episodes available will tend to have a higher number of minutes watched.
