Quite a number of sci fi and fantasy shows are struggling this season or have already been cancelled, and now is the time for fans to step up and show their support. I covered several of these shows in my Call to Action post, including info on what fans can do to help them survive for another season. Below is the list of all the shows currently struggling as well as those that have been recently cancelled. Be sure to cast your vote for the ones that you believe deserve to continue, and pass this along to others so that they can add their votes.
I will be sharing these results with the networks and they have shown a willingness to pay attention to numbers beyond what Nielsen reports these days (even the streaming services can be swayed by the voices of the fans). Lucifer and The Expanse were saved by Netflix and Amazon respectively previously and it’s possible that some of this year’s struggling or cancelled shows could elude the Network Executioner as well if their fans are active and engaged. I can’t stop watching this show. I repeat it all the time. It is amazing and has changed my life. This shows gives me hope about love, that it is okay to be human even with my frailties, and that we can overcome our challenges and this is the first show that has in its purest form role model the love between GLTBQ individuals. The love scene was the most profound love scene I have ever seen on TV.
I have laugh, cried, got angry and was filled with my own creative energies during the seasons of this show. During this covid crisis it kept me sane.
SYFY continue to change the world and keep this show going.
