Ratings Results of Interest

On Monday of last week, TNT’s Snowpiercer picked up some speed, improving to a 0.26 rating based on same-day viewing for the 18-49 demographic with 915K total viewers. That show has already been renewed for a third season. Over on The CW, Black Lightning slipped a couple of ticks to a 0.13 rating in the demo with 438K total viewers. That show is in its final season. On Tuesday on The CW, both Two Sentence Horror Stories and Trickster improved to a 0.09 rating for their season finales. The former has been renewed for a third year while the latter has been cancelled.

On Wednesday, Syfy’s Resident Alien slipped a tick to a 0.18 rating with one million total viewers. Those continue to be good numbers for that network, though, and it appears to be on track for a second season renewal. On Thursday on The CW, Legacies slipped to a 0.10 rating with 516K total viewers, its lowest numbers this season. But it has already been renewed for a fourth year. Over on CBS on Friday, MacGyver improved to a 0.57 rating with just under five million total viewers as it appears headed for a sixth season renewal.

On Sunday, Starz’s American Gods improved to a 0.05 rating with 197K total viewers, but those numbers are still pretty low and that show remains On the Bubble.  Over on The CW, Charmed slipped to a season (and series) low 0.06 rating with 296K total viewers.  But that show has already been renewed for a fourth season.

Status Updates of Interest

For the status updates on all of the currently airing shows plus those awaiting word on their fate, go to this link.

For All Mankind (Apple TV+, Streaming 2nd Season, Status – Renewed): This show was renewed for a third season in advance of its second season premiere. It has proven to be one of the more popular originals on the Apple TV+ streaming service thus far and could stick around for a few more years.

Servant (Apple TV+, Streaming 2nd Season, Status – Renewed): This show was renewed for a third season in advance of its second season premiere. Executive producer M. Night Shyamalan currently has a four-year plan from the show (down from the previously announced six seasons), and it seems possible that it could stick around that long.
