Weekly roundup of science fiction and fantasy shows (as well as movies/specials of note) on the Prime Time TV schedule, also including programs that may be of interest to genre fans. Air dates and times subject to change without notice.
One more series joins the schedule this week while another wraps up a historic run. On Monday, His Dark Materials has its Season 2 premiere on HBO (that show has already started airing in Britain on BBC). And then on Thursday, The CW’s Supernatural wraps up its record-breaking fifteen-year run with a two-hour series finale. The Outpost will be shifting to Sunday at 9 PM EST this week because of the extended length of the Supernatural ep. And AMC’s Fear the Walking Dead has its Mid-Season finale on Sunday after only seven Season 6 episodes (likely cut short due to the production shutdowns). Apart from that, it is business as usual for a Fall season with a reduced schedule because of the impact of the production shutdowns. Schedule Notes: If a show is listed as On Hiatus, that means that it is taking a break of more than two episodes in a row. If a streaming series is included in the listings after its premiere date, then it releases new episodes once per week on that day as opposed to releasing its entire season at one time.
