Weekly roundup of science fiction and fantasy shows (as well as movies/specials of note) on the Prime Time TV schedule, also including programs that may be of interest to genre fans. Air dates and times subject to change without notice.
Hulu’s new animated series Solar Opposites, from Rick & Morty co-creator Justin Roiland as well as Mike McMahan, has its premiere on Friday with all eight episodes available for viewing that day. Also this week, the horror-anthology series Creepshow gets its broadcast debut on AMC where it will run on Mondays at 10 PM EST. The first season ran on the AMC-owned Shudder streaming service last Fall and a second season is on the way.
In addition, the series finale for Star Wars: The Clone Wars will be available for streaming on Disney+ on Monday, May 4th (Star Wars Day). Also wrapping up this week will be The CW’s Riverdale and Supergirl, both of which have run out of episodes completed prior to the shutdowns. And Starz’s Outlander will have its planned fifth season finale. All three of those shows will be returning next year. Schedule Notes: If a show is listed as On Hiatus, that means that it is taking a break of more than two episodes in a row. If a streaming series is included in the listings after its premiere date, then it releases new episodes once per week on that day as opposed to releasing its entire season at one time.
