The Fall 2019 season is not quite over yet with one more show having its debut this coming week. Netflix takes another stab at attracting the fans of epic fantasy (the streamer already has The Dragon Prince and The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance) with its new series The Witcher, based on the fantasy books by Andrzej Sapkowski. That show has its debut on Friday with all eight episodes available for streaming that day. There are also quite a number of shows wrapping this week with season finales for The Purge (USA, incorrectly indicated as the prior week), Van Helsing (Syfy), For All Mankind (Apple), and the series finale for USA’s Mr. Robot. Apart from that, most of the Fall shows will be on Winter break or have already wrapped up, so now is the time to get caught on anything in your queue as Mid-Season kicks off in just two and a half weeks on New Years Day with the return of Doctor Who. If a streaming series is included in the listings after its premiere date, then it releases new episodes once per week on that day as opposed to releasing its entire season at one time.
