Cancellation Watch Breaking News: Amazon Has Renewed Undone for a Second Season

Amazon announced today that its mind-bending animated series Undone has been renewed for a second season. The show is co-created by Kate Purdy and Raphael Bob-Waksberg and has BoJack Horseman‘s Noel Bright and Steven A. Cohen onboard as executive producers. It is animated using rotoscoping, a method in which the animators trace over live film. Amazon has not released any viewership stats for the show, but it currently holds a 100% Fresh Rating and 93% Audience Score at Rotten Tomatoes. The first season wrapped up with an ambiguous ending that might have left some decisions up to the viewers, but now it appears that it will provide some resolution to its storylines and perhaps carry them to the next level.  The second season will likely debut at some point in 2020.

Undone focuses on a young woman who finds her mental capacity expanded after an accident, causing her to become unstuck in time. She must learn to contorl her abilities, though, in order to help her deceased father. It stars Rosa Salazar, Angelique Cabral, Constance Marie, Siddharth Dhananjay, and Bob Odenkirk.

There are still several shows from the 2018-19 season that are awaiting word on their fate such as The Terror, Mars, and The Rook.
