Weekly roundup of science fiction and fantasy shows (as well as movies/specials of note) on the Prime Time TV schedule, also including programs that may be of interest to genre fans. Air dates and times subject to change without notice.
One more Summer entry joins the schedule this week while several more shows are wrapping up their seasons. On Monday, AMC’s season-long anthology The Terror returns for its second season, subtitled “Infamy” (see trailer below). Also on Monday, FX’s Legion wraps up its three year run with its series finale. On Wednesday, three shows will have their season finales. Hulu’s The Handmaid’s Tale will stream its third season finale (it has been renewed for a fourth season), NBC’s The InBetween wraps up its first season (it is On the Bubble), and Syfy’s Krypton airs its second season finale (it is also On the Bubble). Then on Sunday, Starz’s The Rook wraps up its first season and it is yet another Summer show that is On the Bubble. Finally, on Saturday Syfy unleashes its latest natural-disaster-meets-critters opus with the premiere of Zombie Tidal Wave. Schedule Notes: If a show is listed as On Hiatus, that means that it is taking a break of more than two episodes in a row. If a streaming series is included in the listings after its premiere date, then it releases new episodes once per week on that day as opposed to releasing its entire season at one time.
