Sci Fi TV Listings for the Week of October 22nd: Premieres for Legends of Tomorrow S4, Channel Zero S4, The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, and More

Weekly roundup of science fiction and fantasy shows (as well as movies/specials of note) on the Prime Time TV schedule, also including programs that may be of interest to genre fans. Air dates and times subject to change without notice.

The season premieres ramp back up this week with six shows having their bows over the next seven days. Starting off the week, The CW’s Legends of Tomorrow is back for its fourth season on Monday nights at 9 PM EST after Arrow. On Thursday, The CW’s spin-off from the Vampire Diaries / The Originals franchise Legacies premieres at 9 PM EST following Supernatural. On Friday, Netflix has two shows premiering, the Archie Comics based The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina as well as the second season of the animated Castlevania. All episodes of those shows will be available for streaming that day. On NBC that night, Midnight, Texas returns at 9 PM EST as it shifts to Fall for its second season. And Syfy’s Channel Zero returns for its fourth season at 11 PM EST. The network is doing a “binge run” of that show and will air one episode a night through Halloween (it has six total episodes in its season). On Saturday, Syfy debuts another of its original horror films titled Dead in the Water. Here is the description of that one: “An all-female crew on a boat in the middle of nowhere must deal with an invader on their ship”.

A new episode of Titans will be available for streaming on the DC Universe service on Friday. And on Tuesday, FOX’s The Gifted will be preempted for World Series coverage. The premieres slow down next week, but there are still more Fall shows on the way. You can see the full Fall schedule of sci fi and fantasy shows at this link.
