Ratings Results of Interest
It was a slow week with several shows in repeats and a couple more having wrapped up their seasons the prior week. As we head towards the end of the regular season and then into the Summer months, there will be less ratings data to cover, but I will continue post what is available.
On Sunday, AMC’s The Walking Dead slipped to a new low point for a mid-season finale as it only managed a 0.36 rating with 1.6 million total viewers. That show will be back later this year with its last eight episodes. Over on Starz, Outlander slipped to a 0.03 rating with 534K total viewers. It has been renewed for a seventh season, but I’m starting to wonder if that will be its last.
On Friday, The CW’s Charmed slipped a tick to a 0.06 rating with 362K total viewers while on Thursday Legacies slipped to a 0.05 score with 388K total viewers. Both of those shows are awaiting word on their fates. On CBS on Thursday, Ghosts was a repeat even though the schedule showed a new episode.
On Tuesday, The CW’s The Flash improved to a 0.11 rating with 573K total viewers while Kung Fu held at a 0.07 score with 428K total viewers. Both of those shows have been renewed. The rest of the genre entries were in repeats for the week.
