Sci Fi/Fantasy TV Shows Premiering This Week
As we get into December the number of premieres will start to slow down, but one more show does join the schedule this week on the streaming services.
Lost in Space (Season 3 Premieres on Netflix December 1st): In an epic final season, the Robinsons’ survival instincts kick into hyperdrive as they race to reunite and protect Alpha Centauri from a robot invasion. All episodes will be available for viewing on Wednesday.

Also this week, four shows will be wrapping up their Fall runs. On Tuesday, NBC’s La Brea will have its season finale, and it has already been renewed for a second year. On Sunday, Fear the Walking Dead will have its mid-meason finale while The Walking Dead: World Beyond will wrap up its two-year run. And Doctor Who will wrap up its six-part Flux storyline that night as well. That show will air three specials next year before Jodie Whittaker passes the torch to another actor for the lead role. Legends of Tomorrow will be preempted this week (as will Batwoman) and the spin-off holiday special Beebo Saves Christmas will air in its place a 8 PM EST. La Brea is pretty awful but it’s also kind of fun I’d you don’t get wrapped up in picking at the details. There’s definitely worse out there…take Batwoman for instance.
La Brea does not deserve a new season. The writing is poor to say the least.
