Sci Fi/Fantasy TV Shows Premiering This Week
This week brings one more premiere as the Fall season continues to ramp up and even more are on the way in the coming weeks.
Y: The Last Man (Premieres on Hulu September 13th): Y: The Last Man traverses a post-apocalyptic world in which a cataclysmic event decimates every mammal with a Y chromosome but for one cisgender man and his pet monkey. The series follows the survivors in this new world as they struggle with their efforts to restore what was lost and the opportunity to build something better. The first three episodes will be available for streaming on Monday and the show will release one ep per week after that.
Schedule Notes
Also this week, SurrealEstate will have its season finale on Friday on Syfy. There is no word yet on a second season of that show. FOX’s Fantasy Island will again be doing double duty with new episodes on Tuesday and on Sunday with the latter ep acting as its season finale. The network is currently in talks to bring that one back for a second season. There are plenty more sci fi and fantasy shows on the way this Fall and you can see the full schedule at this link.
