Weekly roundup of science fiction and fantasy shows (as well as movies/specials of note) on the Prime Time TV schedule, also including programs that may be of interest to genre fans. Air dates and times subject to change without notice.
There are no sci fi TV premieres this week, as this slow Fall season is at the point that it will start to get slower. There are still a few more shows that will join the schedule this month and next, but sci fi TV viewing will not start to ramp up until January when many of the shows that usually air in Fall make it back to the schedule (you can get a preview of the Mid-Season premieres at this link). FOX’s neXt does resume new episodes this Tuesday after three weeks of preemptions. That show has been cancelled by the network, but will air out its remaining episodes. Swamp Thing also airs a new episode on The CW this week after getting preempted for election coverage. And the rest of the shows on the currently-depleted Fall schedule will air new eps with the exception of The CW’s Pandora which will take a week off. Schedule Notes: If a show is listed as On Hiatus, that means that it is taking a break of more than two episodes in a row. If a streaming series is included in the listings after its premiere date, then it releases new episodes once per week on that day as opposed to releasing its entire season at one time.
