Digital Ratings: The Haunting of Bly Manor and The 100 Enter the Rankings, The Boys Improves

There were two new genre entries to the Nielsen Streaming Top 10 for the week of October 5th to 11th and a prior performer improved its place in the rankings. Netflix’s horror series The Haunting of Bly Manor had its debut that week and entered into the charts at the Number 2 slot with an estimated 1.18 billion minutes watched. The CW’s The 100 wrapped up its seven-year run the prior week on the linear network and the full seventh season became available on Netflix on October 8th. That found the show entering the rankings at the Number 8 slot with an estimated 664 million minutes viewed. And Amazon’s The Boys released is Season 2 finale for streaming that week which saw its rank improve to Number 5 (up from Number 7) for the week with 752 million minutes of viewership.

The Nielsen Streaming Ratings rank the shows/movies on Netflix, Amazon, Disney+, and Hulu based on the number of minutes watched during the week by U.S. viewers. The numbers are extrapolated based on the Nielsen sampling of families who have meters monitoring their viewing habits. Following are the genre shows in the Top 10 for the Week of Oct 5-11 which includes the estimated minutes viewed (the prior week rank is in parenthesis).
