Weekly roundup of science fiction and fantasy shows (as well as movies/specials of note) on the Prime Time TV schedule, also including programs that may be of interest to genre fans. Air dates and times subject to change without notice.
There is one premiere this week, but apart from that, the next seven days will be slow for sci fi and fantasy television. On Tuesday, the Big Four broadcast networks are preempting regularly scheduled programming for election coverage (meaning the recently cancelled neXt will be preempted for a third week in a row). And The CW is opting for repeats that night. On Sunday, Showtime’s space exploration comedy Moonbase 8 has its premiere, and the first episode will be released online for free that day as well. For Showtime subscribers, all of the first season episodes will be available for streaming that day. The rest of the week will continue with new episodes from the handful of currently airing shows such as Pandora and Fear the Walking dead along with new eps from streaming entries The Mandalorian and Star Trek: Discovery. Schedule Notes: If a show is listed as On Hiatus, that means that it is taking a break of more than two episodes in a row. If a streaming series is included in the listings after its premiere date, then it releases new episodes once per week on that day as opposed to releasing its entire season at one time.
