Weekly roundup of science fiction and fantasy shows (as well as movies/specials of note) on the Prime Time TV schedule, also including programs that may be of interest to genre fans. Air dates and times subject to change without notice.
Three more sci fi/fantasy shows join the schedule this week, all on the streaming services. On Tuesday, Netflix’s fantasy Anime series Blood of Zeus has its debut with all episodes available for streaming on that day. Then on Friday, the much-anticipated second season of The Mandalorian kicks off on Disney+. The series will release one episode per week like it did in its first season. Over on Amazon’s Prime Video, the new supernatural dramedy Truth Seekers, from Nick Frost and Simon Pegg, has its debut on Friday and all episodes will be available for streaming that day. Also this week, Shudder’s Creepshow horror anthology series will release a special animated episode on Thursday just before Halloween. And on Sunday, Adult Swim’s Primal wraps up its first season. Schedule Notes: If a show is listed as On Hiatus, that means that it is taking a break of more than two episodes in a row. If a streaming series is included in the listings after its premiere date, then it releases new episodes once per week on that day as opposed to releasing its entire season at one time.
