Weekly roundup of science fiction and fantasy shows (as well as movies/specials of note) on the Prime Time TV schedule, also including programs that may be of interest to genre fans. Air dates and times subject to change without notice.
Three more sci fi and fantasy shows join the Mid-Season schedule this week with another returning from hiatus. On Monday, HBO’s alternate-history mini-series The Plot Against America, based on the Philip Roth novel of the same name, has its debut. Also on that evening, The CW’s Roswell New Mexico returns for its second season. Then on Wednesday, Freeform’s new supernatural drama Motherland Fort Salem has its series debut (see trailer below). Returning from a month and a half hiatus, Supernatural resumes its final season as its shifts to Monday nights at 8 PM EST on The CW. Schedule Notes: If a show is listed as On Hiatus, that means that it is taking a break of more than two episodes in a row. If a streaming series is included in the listings after its premiere date, then it releases new episodes once per week on that day as opposed to releasing its entire season at one time.
