Weekly roundup of science fiction and fantasy shows (as well as movies/specials of note) on the Prime Time TV schedule, also including programs that may be of interest to genre fans. Air dates and times subject to change without notice.
The CW’s Arrow-verse cross-over event Crisis on Infinite Earths comes to a conclusion this week. On Tuesday, the fourth installment of the event airs as an episode of Arrow, followed by the conclusion in the next hour on Legends of Tomorrow. A repeat of Part 3 of the cross-over which aired as an episode of The Flash runs on Monday leading up to the conclusion. Note that Arrow will continue to air in the Tuesday 8 PM EST timeslot until it wraps up its final season later this month. Also this week, Syfy’s The Magicians returns for its fifth season on Wednesday (see trailer below). And the majority of The CW shows return from hiatus this week, leaving Black Lightning and Riverdale scheduled to resume new episodes next week and The Flash returning in February. Schedule Notes: If a show is listed as On Hiatus, that means that it is taking a break of more than two episodes in a row. If a streaming series is included in the listings after its premiere date, then it releases new episodes once per week on that day as opposed to releasing its entire season at one time.
