Series Profile: Legends of Tomorrow Will Deal with the Consequences of Crisis on Infinite Earths in Season 5

What Is It?

Legends of Tomorrow follows a group of superheroes traveling through space and time in the timeship known as Waverider, trying to correct aberrations in the timeline. They will also be dealing with the repercussions of the Crisis on Infinite Earths event in the upcoming season. Following is the synopsis for the Season 5:

LIGHTS, CAMERA, ACTION — Sara (Caity Lotz), Ray (Brandon Routh) and Mick (Dominic Purcell) are shocked to discover that the Legends have become famous. It seems that everyone except Sara is loving the spotlight, so much so that they invite a documentary crew on board the Waverider to film them as they investigate a strange new blip in the Timeline. The Legends discover that their new problem is none other than Rasputin, who happens to be straight out of hell, and it might be tougher than they thought. Meanwhile, Constantine (Matt Ryan) thinks he knows the reason behind these new blips and informs the team that it won’t be easy to defeat.

Status

The numbers were down for Legends of Tomorrow in its fourth season, but since a final season announcement has not been made for the show yet, I would expect it to return for at least one more year if not more. You can keep up with the ratings results and further status updates during the season at the show’s page on this site.
