Weekly roundup of science fiction and fantasy shows (as well as movies/specials of note) on the Prime Time TV schedule, also including programs that may be of interest to genre fans. Air dates and times subject to change without notice.
Mid-Season kicks off this week on January 1st with the premiere of Doctor Who Season 12 on BBC and BBC America (see trailer below). The series then shifts to its regular timeslot starting on Sunday. Also this week, the joint BBC / Netflix production of Dracula has its premiere on the streaming service on Saturday (it bows on BBC on Wednesday). All episodes will be available for streaming. Then next week will bring more sci fi and fantasy shows joining the schedule or returning from hiatus as Mid-Season will ramp up quickly. You can see the full schedule at this link.

Schedule Notes: If a show is listed as On Hiatus, that means that it is taking a break of more than two episodes in a row. If a streaming series is included in the listings after its premiere date, then it releases new episodes once per week on that day as opposed to releasing its entire season at one time.
