1. Tigra and Dazzler Stalls in Production

Yet another Marvel TV series is experiencing troubles as the animated Tigra and Dazzler in the works at Hulu has lost its showrunner. Erica Rivinoja has left the series (or been excused from it) due to “creative differences”. According to Deadline Hollywood, the adult-animated show is still going forward, but don’t be surprised if that changes at some point. Marvel TV has been going through some changes with Kevin Fiege taking over creative control, and that has resulted in some house-cleaning. Hulu’s Runaways has been cancelled and the planned Ghost Rider series will not go forward. There are still other shows in the works such as the live-action Helstrom and the animated Howard the Duck, but those preceded Fiege’s tenure with the TV division and could find themselves on the chopping block. Stay tuned for more developments on this.

2. Star Trek‘s D.C. Fontana Passes Away at 80

Famed Star Trek writer and story editor D.C. Fontana passed away this week at the age of 80.
