What Is It?

Castle Rock is a season-long horror anthology series that weaves in characters, locations, and storylines from Stephen King’s immense output of writing and takes place in the titular town in Maine. Following is the official synopsis for the second season of the show:

In Season 2, a feud between warring clans comes to a boil when budding psychopath Annie Wilkes (Caplan), Stephen King’s nurse from hell, gets waylaid in Castle Rock.

When Does It Return?

The second season of Castle Rock premieres on Wednesday, October 23rd on Hulu. It will release one episode per week as it did in its first season.

Status

This series received some good buzz during its first season, currently holding an 87% Fresh Rating and 81% Audience Score on Rotten Tomatoes. The streaming services do not usually share their viewership numbers, but I would expect this one to have a decent chance of sticking around for a third season.
