Weekly roundup of science fiction and fantasy shows (as well as movies/specials of note) on the Prime Time TV schedule, also including programs that may be of interest to genre fans. Air dates and times subject to change without notice.
This week brings several notable Summer premieres, two on the streaming services and one on Cable. On Thursday, Netflix’s space drama Another Life, starring fan-favorites Katee Sackhoff and Tyler Hoechlin, has its premiere (see trailer below) with all first season episodes available that day. On Friday, Amazon’s superhero series The Boys, based on the Garth Ennis comic of the same name, has its debut and will also have all first season episodes available for streaming. On Sunday, the Batman prequel prequel Pennyworth, following the early days of Alfred, has its debut on Epix. Also on Sunday, AMC’s supernatural drama NOS4A2 has its two-hour season finale.
