Why Was It Cancelled? Netflix cancelled this show after one season and it may have been another show that fell because of the pandemic. Viewership was reportedly strong when it premiered, but no numbers were made available. Plans for a second season were delayed due to COVID-related production shutdowns, and the contracts for the actors may have expired. It possibly still could have been brought back for a second year, but Netflix has been in cancelling mode lately, and they chose not to continue the series.
