When does Gen V Season 2 premiere?

Sci Fi TV Premieres for September 2025: Gen V Season 2, Futurama Season 13, TWD: Daryl Dixon Season 3, Marvel Zombies, and More

Sci Fi TV Premieres: Here is a rundown of all the new and returning sci fi and fantasy TV shows that will have a premiere in August 2025. This information is based on premieres announced at the time of this posting (though check back for updates) and will include trailers if available. Note that premiere dates and times can change with little or no notice.

September is a rather lite this year as far as sci fi TV premieres, with only six shows currently on the schedule. There was a time when this was a big month for the broadcast networks, but their scripted offerings continue to decline each year, and the only genre premiere from them this month is Krapopolis Season 3 on Fox. There are some notable entries this month such as the second half of the second season of Wednesday Season 2, the third season premiere for The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, and the return of Amazon’s The Boys spin-off Gen V for its second season. But this September is definitely not as heavy on the premieres as we have seen in past years.  And note that the date below for Marvel Zombies is tentative because I have also seen an October premiere mentioned for that show.

Wednesday Season 2 Volume 2

Wednesday, September 3rd, Netflix: Desperate to avert her prophecy and save Enid’s life, Wednesday reopens a dark chapter in her family’s history — with direct ties to Tyler. The remaining four episodes from Season 2 will be available to view on the premiere date.

The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon Season 3

The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, September 7th, AMC: Stranded in Western Europe, Daryl and Carol continue their perilous journey toward home, only to land in zombie-infested Spain, where they find themselves embroiled in a twisted local conflict involving corrupt leaders, disturbing customs, and desperate survivors. Season 3 premieres Sunday, September 7th at 9 PM EST on AMC and AMC+.

Futurama Season 13

Futurama, September 15th, Hulu: While delivering pizza on New Year’s Eve 1999, Philip J. Fry is accidentally cryonically frozen and thawed out one thousand years into the future. All episodes will be available on the premiere date.

Gen V Season 2

Gen V, September 17th, Prime Video: Marie, Jordan, and Emma are released from Vought’s prison and return to Godolkin University, where a new, ruthless Dean is transforming the school into a military training ground and preaching a new curriculum for Supes. The first three episodes will be available on the premiere date.

Marvel Zombies

Marvel Zombies, September 24th, Disney+: After the Avengers are overtaken by a zombie plague, a desperate group of survivors discover the key to bringing an end to the super-powered undead, racing across a dystopian landscape and risking life and limb to save their world. Note that this premiere date is tentative at this time.

Krapopolis

Krapopolis, September 28th, Fox: Set in a mythical ancient Greece-inspired city called Krapopolis, this series follows the flawed family of humans, gods, and monsters trying to run one of the world’s first cities without killing each other. Premieres at 8:30 PM EST on Fox.
