Sci Fi TV News:

According to ProductionList.com, a Doctor Who spin-off series is in the works titled The War Between The Land And The Sea.  Following is the brief synopsis provided: “A spin-off of the fantasy-action saga Doctor Who, that will feature the Sea Devils.”  Russel T. Davis is listed as the writer and Doctor Who alums Vicki Delow and Phil Collinson are onboard as producers.  No additional information is available on the production at this time.

George R.R. Martin has indicated that the Game of Thrones spin-off Nine Voyages, which will be “about the legendary voyages of the Sea Snake”, will move from live-action animation.  This is being done because “budgetary constraints would likely have made a live-action version prohibitively expensive”.  The show has not received the greenlight yet, and it is currently in the development phase.

James Gunn has given another update on Peacemaker Season 2, claiming that it is “over halfway written”. That still puts it a ways off from starting filming and it seems likely that it will not premiere until early 2025 as a best-case scenario.

Derek Simonds has come onboard as the showrunner for Sam Esmail’s reboot/revival of Battlestar: Galactica.  There are still no details on the new series other than it will allegedly take place in the same universe as the Ronald D. Moore show.

Brad Winderbaum, the executive producer of the upcoming Daredevil: Born Again series, has confirmed that the Netflix shows are considered canon for the MCU.  That was previously in doubt and there was concern among fans that the new show would be a reboot.
