Sci Fi TV News

It has been a year and a half since the first season of Peacemaker premiered on Max, and it will still be a while before the second season arrives, but James Gunn did give a recent update. He indicated on Instagram that he is writing the second season now which means there is a chance that it could premiere in 2024 . . . Netflix has given a second season renewal to its animated fantasy/horror series Castlevania: Nocturne . . . Vince Gilligan is working on a new series starring Rhea Seehorn, but it will not be in the Breaking Bad universe. He calls it “mild science fiction” and he has given the following (though limited) description of the premise:

The world changes very abruptly in the first episode, and then it is quite different. It’s the modern world — the world we live in — but it changes very abruptly. And the consequences that that reaps hopefully provide drama for many, many episodes after that.

The still-untitled series is in the works at Apple TV+ and could be looking at a 2024 premiere.
