Why Did It End? This show was expensive to produce, but it did perform well in its home country of Germany and other parts of the world, and it pulled decent viewership in its run on The CW in the States.  I had heard talks of a second season, but there has been no word on that a year and a half after it premiered in Europe and a year after it had its bow on The CW.  I am going to count it as ended for now, but there is always a chance it could come back for a second round of episodes at some point.

  1. Please bring this show back for at least another season! It is so creative and interesting, and important as well. Everything about it is wonderful. The way it ended is really only the beginning of the story as I see it, and it has SO much potential if only given the chance.

  2. The end was too predictable and it happened way too fast. Overall, it felt too much like “The Rig” that starred Emil Hampshire, especially around attempts to communicate with the unknown entity.

    1. There has been no word on a second season, but it performed well internationally and could return with more episodes.
