Sci Fi/Fantasy TV Shows Premiering This Week

Manifest (Netflix): As the Death Date looms, the Flight 828 passengers and their loved ones race to fulfill their Callings and prevent the terrifying future that awaits. Season 4B premieres on Friday.

The Lazarus Project (TNT): George is the latest recruit to The Lazarus Project – a secret organization that has harnessed the ability to turn back time whenever the world is at the threat of extinction. George and his colleagues are the few people on Earth with the ability to remember the events that are undone when time goes back. But when a freak accident harms someone close to George, Lazarus won’t let him turn back time to undo it unless there is the threat of global extinction. Now George must choose to stay loyal or go rogue as he faces the question: if you had the power to re-write your past, what would you sacrifice to do it? Premieres Sunday at 9 PM EST.

Sci Fi TV News

The Fall 2023 schedule for the linear networks currently has only a few sci fi and fantasy shows in the lineup. Quantum Leap returns for its second season on NBC, and Ghosts returns for its third on CBS, though the strike could impact both of those shows. Syfy has Chucky Season 3 and Reginald the Vampire Season 2 on the way and AMC has the TWD spin-off Daryl Dixon targeting a Fall bow, but none of those shows are confirmed at this point.
