The Hardy Boys Will Be Returning for a Third and Final Season

It has been seven months since Hulu’s The Hardy Boys released its second season, and now we know that the cliffhanger ending will be getting a resolution. That show will be returning for a third season, and that will be its last. This revival of boy-detective novels–which adds a supernatural spin–has not received much recognition throughout its first two seasons, but apparently it has developed enough of an audience to carry it into a third year. It is not an expensive series to produce and it is following the typical pattern of streaming originals these days with a three-season run and the final season announced in advance. The third year will consist of eight episodes (less than each of the first two) and will arrive on the streaming service at some point in 2023.

The Hardy Boys follows the two brothers Frank and Joe Hardy who apply their super-sleuth abilities to uncover the truth about something quite menacing happening in their own town of Bridgeport. It stars Rohan Campbell, Alexander Elliot, James Tupper, Keana Lyn, and Linda Thorson and it is based on the series of books created by Edward Stratemeyer.
