Sci Fi/Fantasy TV Shows Premiering This Week


Interview With The Vampire (Premieres October 2nd on AMC): Based on Anne Rice’s iconic novel, the series follows Louis de Pointe’s epic story of love, blood, and the perils of immortality, as told to the journalist Daniel Molloy. Chafing at the limitations of life as a black man in 1900’s New Orleans, Louis finds it impossible to resist the rakish Lestat De Lioncourt’s offer of the ultimate escape: joining him as his vampire companion. Premieres Sunday at 10 PM EST.



The Walking Dead (Season 11C Premieres October 2nd on AMC): This show returns to wrap up its story with its final eight episodes. Premieres Sunday at 9 PM EST.



The Walking Dead (Season 2 Premieres September 27th on NBC): In season two, the Harris family remains separated as Eve is reeling from her son, Josh, having mistakenly gone through a portal to 1988. What she doesn’t know yet is that her estranged husband, Gavin, and their daughter, Izzy, have landed in prehistoric Seattle and now must brave the elements and animals to make their way to L.A. Premieres Tuesday at 9 PM EST.



Ghosts (Season 2 Premieres September 29th on CBS): A young couple inherits a huge rundown country estate, only to find it is teeming with ghosts. Premieres Thursday at 8:30 PM EST.

Schedule Notes

Syfy’s Resident Alien wraps up its second season on Wednesday and will be returning in 2023 for its third year.
