Digital Ratings: Raising Dion Enters Netflix Top 10, Archive 81 Arrives in the Nielsen Rankings

Netflix Top 10

Only one genre entry made it into the Netflix Top 10 for the week of January 31st to February 6th, but it took up two slots in the rankings. The superhero series Raising Dion had its second season premiere that week and it bowed at Number 2 with 49 million hours viewed. The first season was also in the charts, at the Number 6 slot with 27 million hours viewed. Consider that one to be on track for a third year renewal, though Netflix originals usually cap out around the point. In the Top 10 for Non-English Language shows, the Korean zombie series All of Us Are Dead remained at Number 1 for a second week in a row and it posted record viewership at 236 million hours for the week. Expect a second season of that one. Following are all the sci fi and fantasy TV shows on the Netflix charts for the week (the number in parenthesis is the prior week rank):

Netflix Top 10 for the Week of Jan-31 to Feb-6

English Language Shows
2 (na) Raising Dion: Season 2 49.1 Million Hours
6 (n/a) Raising Dion: Season 1 26.5 Million Hours

Nielsen Streaming Top 10

The Nielsen streaming rankings were running late this week, thus the reason this post was delayed to Saturday. Netflix’s horror series Archive 81 has already performed well in the streamers Top 10 and it entered the Nielsen ranking for the week of its premiere. The show landed at the Number 8 slot with an estimated 329 million minutes viewed for the week. The Witcher continued to draw strong viewership, holding at the Number 2 slot with 624 million minutes viewed. And The Book of Bobba Fett held steady at Number 5 for its third with 467 million minutes viewed. Amazon’s The Wheel of Time and Netflix’s Lost in Space both dropped out from the prior week. Peacemaker had its premiere that week for HBO Max, but Nielsen is not currently tracking the viewership for that streamer. Following are all the sci fi and fantasy TV shows on the streaming charts for the week (the number in parenthesis is the prior week rank):
