Sci Fi TV Development

Damon Lindelof (Watchmen) and Matt Reeves (The Batman) are teaming up on the HBO Max series The Human Conditions which was created by British filmmaker Oscar Sharp. Deadline gives the following description for the project:

The Human Conditions is an original series that follows a young British doctor who must learn to treat impossible, fantastical illnesses by healing the emotional issues that underlie them — and confronting her own along the way.

The show will likely be targetting a 2022 premiere. In addition, HBO Max reportedly has a black superman limited series in the works based on the Val-Zod character with Michael B. Jordan attached. J.J. Abrams is also working on a big-screen Superman reboot with a black Clark Kent, and it is unclear if these projects are linked.
