Sci Fi/Fantasy TV Shows Premiering This Week
This week kicks off the Summer schedule, and one new genre entry joins the lineup as Netflix’s genre-bending Sweet Tooth has its series premiere on Friday.
Sweet Tooth (Netflix): On a perilous adventure across a post-apocalyptic world, a lovable boy who’s half-human and half-deer searches for a new beginning with a gruff protector. All episodes will be available for streaming on Friday.
Other Schedule Notes
The CW’s Nancy Drew has its Season 2 finale on Wednesday. That show has been renewed for a third season. Black Lightning wrapped up its four-season run on The CW last week. Several other CW shows will be in repeats or preempted this week as that network tries to stretch out their seasons to keep scripted programming going through the Summer months.
