Digital Ratings: Supernatural and WandaVision Remain in the Nielsen Streaming Top 10

Supernatural spent another week in the Nielsen Streaming Top 10 for acquired shows over the week of March 8th through 15th. It improved one slot from the prior week to Number 8 with an estimated 393 million minutes of viewing. In the Top 10 for original series, Disney+’s WandaVision remained in the rankings for a tenth week in a row, slipping one slot from the prior week to Number 3 with 388 million minutes of viewing. That show had already wrapped up its nine-episode run that week, but viewership still remained strong. In the Top 10 for movies, The Dark Knight landed at the Number 9 slot with 157 million minutes of viewing after arriving on Netflix in the month of March. You can see the full rankings at this link.

The Nielsen Streaming Ratings rank the shows/movies on Netflix, Amazon, Disney+, and Hulu based on the number of minutes watched during the week by U.S. viewers on television sets (mobile devices are not included at this point). The numbers are extrapolated based on the Nielsen sampling of families who have meters monitoring their viewing habits. Also note, shows with more episodes available will tend to have a higher number of minutes watched.
