Digital Ratings: WandaVision Improves to Number 2 in the Rankings

Disney+’s MCU WandaVision remained in the Nielsen Stream Top 10 for an eighth week in a row and improved to the Number 2 position. It also had its highest viewing numbers, pulling in an estimated 732 million minutes for the week of February 22nd through 28th. Outlander continued to chart in the Top 10 for acquired shows, though it slipped one slot from last week while pulling in 431 million minutes of viewing for its encore run on Netflix. In the Top 10 movies, Avengers: Endgame improved to the Number 9 slot as that one garnered 105 million minutes of viewing on Disney+. And the supernatural drama The Conjuring 2 entered the charts for Netflix at the Number 4 slot with 184 million minutes viewed. You can see the full rankings at this link.

The Nielsen Streaming Ratings rank the shows/movies on Netflix, Amazon, Disney+, and Hulu based on the number of minutes watched during the week by U.S. viewers on television sets (mobile devices are not included at this point). The numbers are extrapolated based on the Nielsen sampling of families who have meters monitoring their viewing habits. Also note, shows with more episodes available will tend to have a higher number of minutes watched.
