Series Profile: Westworld Moves to the Real World in its Third Season

What Is It?

Westworld is an AI-themed sci fi series based on the book and movie of the same name by Michael Crichton that airs on HBO. The first two seasons focused on the androids in the Westworld theme park who start to become self-aware and who rise up against their human creators. In the upcoming third season, the androids will move beyond the park to take on the world outside. Following is the official teaser for Season 3:

Follow the dawn of artificial consciousness and the evolution of sin in this dark odyssey that begins in a world where every human appetite can be indulged. Aaron Paul, Vincent Cassel, Lena Waithe and Scott Mescudi join Evan Rachel Wood, Jeffrey Wright, Thandie Newton, Ed Harris and more for the upcoming third season, which will explore questions about the nature of our reality, free will and what makes us human.
