Series Profile: Amazing Stories Seeks to Recapture the Spielberg Magic

What Is It?

Amazing Stories is a reboot of the 80’s anthology of the same name that ran for two seasons on NBC. Following is the official tagline for the series:

A reimagining of the original anthology series by Steven Spielberg, each episode of “Amazing Stories” will transport the audience to worlds of wonder through the lens of today’s most imaginative filmmakers, directors and writers.

Premiere

The series will premiere on March 6, 2020 on the Apple TV+ service. The first episode will be available that day with new episodes released weekly after that.

Status

Apple TV+ has so far renewed most of its scripted originals, so consider this one to have a decent chance of sticking around for a second season. You can keep up with status updates on the show during the season at the show’s page on this site.
