Series Profile: Emergence Debuts on ABC

What Is It?

Emergence is a new conspiracy drama with supernatural elements that debuts on ABC in Fall 2019. Following is the official synopsis of the show:

Emergence is about a police chief who takes in a young child she finds near the site of a mysterious accident who has no memory of what has happened. The investigation draws her into a conspiracy larger than she ever imagined, and the child’s identity is at the center of it all.

Series Premiere

The series will air on ABC at 10 pm EST on Tuesdays and will have its premiere on September 24th.

Status

The Tuesday 10 PM EST timeslot has been a rough one for ABC the last few years and is not a good hour for a new series. The show is owned by ABC, though, so maybe they will give it some time to find an audience.
