Weekly roundup of science fiction and fantasy shows (as well as movies/specials of note) on the Prime Time TV schedule, also including programs that may be of interest to genre fans. Air dates and times subject to change without notice.
This week brings two more Summer premieres along with one show resuming new episodes. On Wednesday, Syfy’s Superman prequel series Krypton returns for its second season. Then on Thursday, Freeform’s Siren returns for the second half of its second season (earlier than previously indicated). Then Friday brings us a bittersweet premiere as Jessica Jones arrives for its third season (see trailer below) but also marks the end of the run of the Defenders shows on Netflix (with fans still holding out hope that Hulu will pick these up).
