News and Updates: The budget for the first season of this show ballooned to $300 million, making it one of the most expensive series of all time. The second season was given the greenlight in advance, and Amazon has plans for multiple international spin-offs, with the Italian Citadel: Diana and the Indian Citadel: Honey Bunny already having premiered. If Season 2 of the main series performs well, perhaps the franchise will continue, but Amazon will likely want to rein in the costs on this one.
