Sci Fi/Fantasy TV Shows Premiering This Week


Secret Invasion (Disney+): Set in the present-day MCU, Fury learns of a clandestine invasion of Earth by a faction of shapeshifting Skrulls. Fury joins his allies, including Everett Ross, Maria Hill, and the Skrull Talos, who has made a life for himself on Earth. Together they race against time to thwart an imminent Skrull invasion and save humanity. The first episode will be available for streaming on Wednesday.



Skull Island (Netflix): Shipwrecked in the South Pacific, a group of explorers encounter a menagerie of fearsome creatures — including the giant ape who rules the island: Kong. All episodes will be available for streaming on Thursday.

The Babylon 5 animated movie which will take place in the original universe will be released VOD and on Blu-ray on August 15th. The trailer and synopsis are below . . . Superman & Lois received a fourth season renewal on The CW but that comes with budget cuts that will slash more than half of the regular cast . . . Gotham Knights was cancelled by The CW after one season and attempts to shop it around have proven unsuccessful.

Babylon 5: The Road Home: Return to BABYLON 5 as the epic interstellar saga continues with THE ROAD HOME.
