Nielsen Streaming Top 10
The superhero series Raising Dion has already been performing well in the Netflix Top 10, and the show had a strong entry into the Nielsen rankings for original series for the week of January 31st to February 6th. It bowed at the Number 4 slot with an impressive 1.1 billion minutes of viewing based on Nielsen estimates. I expect that one will be back for at least one more season. The Netflix Korean zombie-series All of Us Are Dead slipped to the Number 6 slot with 850 million minutes viewed, but I am still expecting a second season from that one. And Disney+’s The Book of Boba Fett slipped to Number 7 with 776 million minutes, with a second season for that one likely as well. Dropping out from last week were the two Netflix entries Archive 81 and The Witcher. Season 2 of Raised by Wolves had its debut that week, but HBO Max is not currently tracked by Nielsen. In the Top 10 for acquired shows, Supernatural took a drop to Number 10 and Vampire Diaries returned to the list. Netflix Top 10
It was a rather slow week in the Netflix Top 10 for English Language shows with only two genre entries, and both were near the bottom of the list for the week of February 21st to 27th. Space Force made it to the Number 8 slot the week after its Season 2 premiere with 12.3 million hours viewed (it did not place in the Top 10 last week). Those are not particularly strong numbers and a third season of that show may be in doubt. Raising Dion Season 2 slipped to Number 9 in its fourth week on the charts, but still appears headed for at least a third season if not more. In the Non-English Language list, All of Us Are Dead remained at Number 1, though its viewership continued to drop with 38.9 million hours logged that week.
