Digital Ratings: Archive 81 Remains in Netflix Top 10, All of Us Are Dead Tops Foreign Chart

Netflix Top 10

It was a relatively slow week for genre shows in the Digital Ratings, especially for the Netflix Top 10. Only two sci fi/fantasy shows placed in the rankings for English Language shows for the week of January 24th to 30th with highly-watched The Witcher dropping out after several weeks. The horror series Archive 81 continued to draw strong viewership as it placed at Number 3 with 36 million hours watched, and it could be headed to a second season (though with Netflix that is never gauranteed). The only other entry was the encore run of Riverdale Season 5 which crept into the rankings at the Number 10 slot. In the Top 10 for Non-English Language shows, the Korean zombie series All of Us Are Dead premiered at Number 1 with 125 million hours of viewing.  That one could be on track for a second season renewal. Following are all the sci fi and fantasy TV shows on the Netflix charts for the week (the number in parenthesis is the prior week rank):

Netflix Top 10 for the Week of Jan-24 to Jan-30

Nielsen Streaming Top 10

In the Nielsen Streaming Rankings, Netflix’s The Witcher held on to the Number 2 slot for the week of January 3rd to 9th and tallied an impressive 1.1 billion minutes viewed.  That show has been renewed for a third season and multiple spin-offs are in the works.  Disney+’s The Book of Boba Fett improved to Number 5 in its second week and pulled in 563 minutes of viewing. That one will likely be continuing into a second season.  Amazon’s The Wheel of Time slipped to Number 8 with 300 million minutes viewed; it has already been renewed for a second season.  Netflx’s Lost in Space slipped to Number 9 with 291 million minutes watched for its final season. Following are all the sci fi and fantasy TV shows on the streaming charts for the week (the number in parenthesis is the prior week rank):
