Weekly roundup of science fiction and fantasy shows (as well as movies/specials of note) on the Prime Time TV schedule, also including programs that may be of interest to genre fans. Air dates and times subject to change without notice.
The Summer season keeps rolling forward, this week bring two more premieres for sci fi and fantasy shows. On Thursday, The CW’s fantasy series The Outpost returns for its second season (see trailer below). On Monday, the long awaited third season of the Scream TV series finally arrives as that one switches to VH1 from MTV. It will have a compacted run for its six episodes, airing double eps each night through Wednesday. Apart from that, it is mostly business as usual this week with no preemptions or repeats that I am aware of. Note that I had previously seen that The CW’s space adventure series Pandora was debuting this week, but it looks like that show will actually bow on July 16th. Schedule Notes: If a show is listed as On Hiatus, that means that it is taking a break of more than two episodes in a row. If a streaming series is included in the listings after its premiere date, then it releases new episodes once per week on that day as opposed to releasing its entire season at one time.
