The Charts: The Walking Dead Returns to the Charts as Gotham Drops Off

walking-dead-season-5-artAs expected, The Walking Dead returned at or near the top of all the charts it usually appears on with its mid-season premiere this past Sunday.  It was Number 1 on the cable Top 25 based on total viewers and also on the General Sentiment chart the tracks social network activity.  And it took second place on the Nielsen Twitter Ratings behind the Grammy’s.  Expect it to remain high on these charts as it wraps up its fifth season.  FOX’s Gotham fell out of the charts for the first time this season that it was airing a new episode.  That show has seen its ratings drop the last few weeks, enough to get it out of the Top 25 with the latest tally.  It has already been renewed for a second season, so it is safe.  But it would be nice to see its numbers start trending up as the season closes out.
