New on DVD: Kindred: The Embraced Gets a DVD Re-Release

Kindred: The Embraced – Complete Series (Includes Book of Nod)

Long before Twilight or the Vampire Diaries or any of the slew of vampire yarns that have dominated the genre over the past ten years or so, Kindred: The Embraced was the true sexy vampire tale.  This short-lived series only lasted eight episodes on FOX in 1996 before the network executives put a stake through its heart.  The series was based on the role-playing game Vampire: The Masquerade and established a rich mythology for the various vampire clans that appeared in its episodes.  Now it returns on DVD with a deluxe box set that includes the Book of Nod which provides additional backstory on the vampires.  The series became a cult classic after getting cancelled, but never received the recognition it deserved during the wave of revisionist vampire tales that sprung up over the past decade.  Now fans can see what they missed those many years ago.  Order Now From Amazon.com
